2wd Specialist Rally Car
We are in the process of designing and building a completely MSA legal, ultra lightweight mid rear engine RWD rally car. This will be available as a turnkey project or available in kit form. The car will be approximately 380 bhp/ ton, using a four cylinder Ford Duratec as a base to produce at least 300 bhp and at least 205 lb/ft torque, in an overall car weight of 780kgs,
The car will be able to be used for tarmac or gravel stages , with both long and medium travel setups.
The gearbox used in the car will be our own, well proven transverse mounted 6 speed sequential, with paddle shift option, the car will use Proflex 3 way dampers, 650mm OD tyres will be able to be used meaning a full size gravel tyre on a 15” rim and 17” or 18” tarmac rims and tyres, this new and exciting project will be a refreshing change from Escorts and Darrians and will be more than capable of overall rally victories.
