After building Colin Mcraes MK11 Escort  , which was hailed as the ultimate MK11 Escort rally car, we decided to start and build an ultimate MK11 Escort circuit car, the project was initially going to be a showcase for all that we do , however some may say we got a little carried away!

McRae DJM R2 Circuit / Track Car

From its initial design concept there were always going to be two variants of the McRae DJM R4, this being 4WD rally car (R4) and 2WD circuit car (R2).  Both vehicles being based on the same chassis, bodywork and sharing some transmission parts.  The main difference in the two specs being the engine.  The 2.5 litre normally aspirated 4 cylinder for the R4 and 3 litre V6 twin turbo for the R2 circuit variant.
