All of our composite products are manufactured in one of two ways. Firstly, all of our carbon fibre products are made using pre impregnated carbon fibre (pre-preg). This utilises aerospace and F1 technology to produce our ultimate carbon fibre products which consist of the optimum strength to weight ratio whilst giving awesome aesthetics.
Our second process is the much more commonplace wet lay up process whereby resins are introduced into dry materials be they glass fibre, carbon or Kevlar. We tend not to use carbon in this process unless as a direct customer requirement due to cost and weight, benefits and disadvantages. We do use Kevlar quite frequently in a wet lay up process for body panels and under body protection as this gives a good strength to cost compromise especially when parts are sacrificial. All of our products are fully tried and tested before being released for sale, most in winning cars.
